veṇā vaitaraṇī caiva viśvamālā kumudvatī //
The Tâpî, the Payôṣṇî, the Nirvindhyâ, the Kshiprâ, the Ṛiṣabhâ, the Veṇâ, the Vaitaraṇî, the Viśvamâlâ, the Kumudvatî, the Toyâ, the Mahâgaurî, the Durgamâ, the Śilâ (these rivers of cool water having their source in the *Vindhya* mountains).
