śrāvastādbṛhadaśvo 'bhūt kuvalāśvas tato 'bhavat
dhundhumāratvamagamad dhundhunāmnā hataḥ purā //

Śrâvasta was the father of Bṛihadaśva, and the latter of Kuvalâśva, who was also called Dhundhumâra, on account of his having killed [a demon named] Dhundhu. The valiant Dhundhumâra had three sons, *viz.*—Dṛiḍhâśva, Daṇḍa and Kapilâśva.—31-32.
