divaṃ yāsyantu me pūrve gaṅgātoyāplutāsthikāḥ
tatra tripathagā devī prathamaṃ tu pratiṣṭhitā //
He said :—“May my ancestors attain heaven, their bones being drenched with the Ganges water.” The Ganges which goes three ways made her first appearance on that very spot.—27.
