athāvalepaṃ taṃ jñātvā tasyāḥ kruddhastu śaṃkaraḥ
tirobhāvayituṃ buddhir āsīdaṅgeṣu tāṃ nadīm //
Realising this proud attitude of the Ganges, the Lord thought of absorbing Her within Himself.—34.
