brahmaṇo vacanaṃ śrutvā yaduktaṃ dhārayannadīm
tato visarjayāmāsa saṃruddhāṃ svena tejasā //
Moreover, as He was absorbing the sacred stream, He heard the entreaties of Brahmâ. He, therefore, freed the current from His hold.—37.
