The first one is Samanâ, full of antimony (Añjana), and the second one is the Kamada, full of all kinds of herbs. It is very lofty and full of gold. The Gomedadvîpa is surrounded by the sixth ocean, Ikṣurasoda, which is double the size of the Suroda Ocean. The Mountains Dhâtakî (or Sumanâ) and Kumuda are the sons of Havya. They are of vast dimensions. The first sub-division is Saumanâ, also known as Dhâtakî Khaṇḍa, after Dhâtakî, the first mountain. Gomeda Khaṇḍa is also called Sarvasukha. The Khaṇḍa of the Kumuda Mountain is called under the same name—Kumuda.—3-7.
