etadviṣṇupadaṃ divyaṃ tṛtīyaṃ vyomni bhāsvaram //
Dhruva (pole-star) is north of, or, above the region of the seven Ṛiṣis. It is the illustrious foot of Viṣṇu. It is third Lightgiver of the world.—111.
