sūryo 'ṣṭādaśabhirahno muhūrtairudagāyane
trayodaśānāṃ madhye tu ṛkṣāṇāṃ carate raviḥ
muhūrtaistāni ṛkṣāṇi rātrau dvādaśabhiścaran //

Then He goes over only 13 (and a half ?) asterisms in 18 muhûrtas in day time, and at night He goes over the same number of asterisms in 12 muhûrtas.—74.
