bhūtārambhakṛtaṃ karma āśiṣaśca viśāṃ pate
prārabhante lokakāmās teṣāṃ panthāḥ sa dakṣiṇaḥ //
O King, these Ṛiṣis, who originate progeny, begin the works of creation and uplift humanity. They move about in Dakṣiṇâpatha.—99. They establish the order of duty in each yuga (Dharma), when it is disturbed, with their learning, piety and asceticism.—100.
