yāvatyaścaiva tārāḥ syus tāvanto 'sya marīcayaḥ
sarvā dhruvanibaddhāstā bhramantyo bhrāmayanti ca //
The rays of the Pole star extend to the farthest limit where the stars are visible and they all move on tied to the Pole and thus cause others to move on.—16.
