amṛtā jīvanāḥ sarvā raśmayo vṛṣṭisarjanāḥ
himodbhavāśca te 'nyonyaṃ raśmayastriṃśataḥ smṛtāḥ
candratārāgrahaiḥ sarvaiḥ pītā bhānorgabhastayaḥ //
the Amṛtās, and the Jīvanās—all these rays discharge rain. / Three hundred rays mutually remembered as producing cold / are the rays of the sun drunk by the moon, stars, and all planets.
