sampūjyamāno ditijairmahātmabhiḥ sahasraraśmipratimaujasair vibhuḥ
abhiṣṭutaḥ satyaratais tapodhanair yathāstaśṛṅgābhigato divākaraḥ //

Śiva thus adored by the high-souled Devas of unmeasurable lustre like the Sun, the sons of Diti and praised by the truthful ascetics looked like the Sun in full splendour on the summit of Astâchala.—57
