ājagmuḥ pitarastuṣṭāḥ kila dātuṃ ca tāṃ varam
divyarūpadharāḥ sarve divyamālyānulepanāḥ //

After which, the young and handsome Pitṛis, wearing beautiful garlands and having sweet scents on their person, appeared before Achchhodâ to grant her a boon. She was overcome with passion and expressed the desire of marrying Amâvasu Pitṛi, on account of which sinful desire she lost the power she had obtained from practising asceticism.—4-6.
