146.15

*sūta uvāca
mānaso brahmaṇaḥ putro dakṣo nāma prajāpatiḥ
ṣaṣṭiṃ so 'janayatkanyā vairiṇyāmeva naḥ śrutam //

Sûta said —Dakṣa Prajâpati was the mind born son of Brahmâ He afterwards begot sixty daughters from his wife Vairiṇî, out of whom he gave ten to Dharma, thirteen to Kaśyapa, twenty seven to the Moon, four to Âriṣṭanemi, two to the sons of Vâhuka, two to the sage Aṅgirâ and two to the learned Kṛiśâśva —15 17
