"There are other regions known as Kâmadughas, where reside the pious Pitṛis, called Susvada as well as Âjyapâ in the region of Prajâpati Kardarma. They are the sons of Pulaha and are worshipped by the Vaiśyas. The worshippers of these Pitṛis, by performing śrâddha, go to the same region where they see the manes of their deceased ancestors, mother, father, sister, friends, relations, etc." Virajâ was the mânasa daughter of Âjyapâ Pitṛis and was the queen of King Nahuṣa and the mother of Yayâti. She was afterwards known as Ekaṣṭakâ in Brahmaloka.—20-24.
