piturasti tathāpi manovikṛtiḥ saguṇo viguṇo balavānabalaḥ
bhavato varalābhanivṛttabhayaḥ kuliśāṅgasuto ditijo 'tibalaḥ //
Yet a father has fluctuations of mind, whether one has virtues or lacks them, is strong or weak; / freed from fear by obtaining a boon from you, this son of Diti with thunderbolt limbs has become exceedingly powerful.
