tadā mṛtyurmama bhaved anyathā tvamaro hyaham
ityuktastu tadovāca tuṣṭaḥ kamalasaṃbhavaḥ //
The demon said—"I may only die when there occurs a change in my form, otherwise I may live for ever," hearing which Brahmâ said "You will die when your form undergoes a change"—18-20
