nigaditā bhuvanairiti caṇḍikā janani śumbhaniśumbhaniṣūdanī
praṇatacintitadānavadānavapramathanaikaratistarasā bhuvi //

Thus proclaimed as Caṇḍikā by the worlds, O mother, slayer of Śumbha and Niśumbha,
the destruction of the Daityas thought of by the suppliant Daitya being your sole delight, swiftly on earth!
