tṛptāñjñātvā tataḥ kuryād vikiransārvavarṇikam
sodakaṃ cānnamuddhṛtya salilaṃ prakṣipedbhuvi //
After the invited (Brâhmaṇa) guests are satisfied, the host should, on unsanctified earth, place food with water and rice for the acceptance of all classes. This is called Vikira (scattering).—46.
