mṛgendro gṛhyatāmeṣa apūrvāṃ tanumāsthitaḥ
yadi vā saṃśayaḥ kaścid vadhyatāṃ vanagocaraḥ //

The king Hiraṇyakaśyapu on hearing those words of Prahlâda addressed the other Dânavas He said "This wonderful lion should be caught and in case there be any difficulty in its being captured, kill him outright"—14-15
