*prahlāda uvāca
mahābāho mahārāja daityānāmādisaṃbhava
na śrutaṃ na ca no dṛṣṭaṃ nārasiṃhamidaṃ vapuḥ //
Prahlâda said—"O valiant king! the progenitor of the Daityas! I have neither heard nor seen this divine Narasiṃha form How wonderful this mystic form is? Whence has it come? his formidable lionform seems to indicate to me that He will annihilate the demons.—4-5
