nārāyaṇasamājñātaṃ sṛjantamakhilāḥ prajāḥ
daivatāni ca viśvāni mānasānasurānṛṣīn //
Brahmâ as directed by Nârâyaṇa was carrying on the work of the creation of the universe by His mental power He was creating the people, the Devas the demons the Yakṣas, the Ṛiṣis the Mânasa Ṛiṣis in course of which both the demons, wishing their death and agitated with anger, addressed the following sullen words to Brahmâ:—8-9
