viśveśaṃ prathamaṃ tāvan mahātāpasamātmajam
sarvamantrahitaṃ puṇyaṃ nāmnā dharmaṃ sa sṛṣṭavān //
The highly ascetic and the most illustrious son, named Vîdveśa Dharma was begotten first who was followed by other sons named, Dakṣa, Marîchi, Atri Pulastya Pulaha, Kratu Vasiṣṭa, Gautama Bhrigu, Aṅgirâ, and Manu The highly wonderful Ṛiṣis have followed thirteen paths of dharma —26 28
