taṃ tu yogamahāpāraṃ nārāyaṇamahārṇavam
devādhidevaṃ varadaṃ bhaktānāṃ bhaktivatsalam //

Then Nârâyaṇa, looking like such a vast ocean, the Lord of the Devas, the Giver of the boons the Most Clement on the devotees, the Giver of peace, seated in a chariot streaming with the banner with the symbol of Garuḍa, became visible in the firmament.—37-38
