jātismarāḥ sapta jātā mṛgāḥ kālañjare girau
nīlakaṇṭhasya purataḥ pitṛbhāvānubhāvitāḥ //
Afterwards they were re-born as deer on the Kâlañjara hill and through the glory of the Pitṛis maintained their recollection of their previous lives. They then devoted themselves to the Pitṛis and the God Śiva.—15.
