227.5

yo yācitaṃ samādāya na taddadyādyathākramam.
na nigṛhya balāddāpyo daṇḍyo vā pūrvasāhasam .. 227.4 ..

One who does not return a thing within a promised time which he took as a loan from another person should be chastised and forcibly made by Purva Sâhasa to return it to its owner and fined by the sovereign.—4
