bhāruṇḍāni ca sāmāni cchandogaḥ paścime japet.
atharvo'ṅgirasaṃ tadvannīlaṃ raudraṃ tathaiva ca.. 265.28
The Chhandoga Brâhmaṇas sitting in the west should recite Vamadevya, Vṛihatsâma, Jyeṣṭhasâma Rathantara Puruṣasûkta, Rudra sûkta with Śantika and Bhâruṇda Sama And in the north the Atharvans should recite Nîlarudra, Aparajitâ, Saptasûkta and Rudrasûktaântikâdhyâya—27-29
