vāruṇe vāruṇī kṣīre jhaṣasthā nāgapāśinī.
patākinī ca vāyavye mṛgasthā śarkaropari .. 286.9

In the west should be placed the image of the Goddess Vāruṇī with her weapon of Nāgapāśa, riding a fish, on a pot of milk and in the N.-W. corner should be placed the image of the Goddess Patākinī riding a deer, on a mound of sugar.—9.
