*śarmiṣṭhovāca
ojasā tejasā caiva dīpyamānaṃ raviṃ yathā
taṃ dṛṣṭvā mama saṃpraṣṭuṃ śaktir nāsīcchucismite //
Śarmiṣṭhâ said:—"Lady! I felt myself overpowered by his glory. He was so valiant and illustrious, I could not therefore ask him anything."—7. Śaunaka said :—After that mutual conversation, Devayânî believed what Śarmiṣṭhâ told her, and then she returned to her mansion.—8.
