After cursing them thus, he asked his son, Druhya, from Śarmiṣṭhâ, to accede to his wishes on the same condition of getting back his youth after one thousand years. Druhya also refused to do that, and said that he did not feel inclined to put himself in the old age in which he would be incapable of enjoying his kingdom, chariot drive, riding, the company of women and feeling love. Yayâti cursed him, and said that in consequence of his refusal to meet with his wishes, inspite of his being his son, he would never enjoy the things he wished for. Thou and thy children will go to that place where there will be no enjoyment of kingdom, nor enjoyment of beauty and youth.—15-20.
