*aṣṭaka uvāca
carangṛhasthaḥ kathameti devān kathaṃ bhikṣuḥ katham ācāryakarmā
vānaprasthaḥ satpathe saṃniviṣṭo bahūnyasmin samprati vedayanti //
Aṣṭaka.—"O King! Be good enough, to tell me how does a householder go to the Devas in the Heaven world, and how do a Sanyâsi and a Brahmachâri reach them? Similarly how does a Vânaprastha attain the heavens?"—1.
