kukurasya suto vṛṣṇir vṛṣṇestu tanayo dhṛtiḥ
kapotaromā tasyātha taittiristasya cātmajaḥ //

Vriṣṇî was the son of Kukura and the father of Dhriti, who begot Kapotromâ, the father of Taittiri. Taittiri was the father of the learned Nala, and is known as Nandanodaradundubhi of worldwide fame.—62-63.
