namaḥ stotre mayā hy asmin yadi na vyāhṛtaṃ bhavet
madbhakta iti brahmaṇya tatsarvaṃ kṣantumarhasi //

O Lord Siva ! if in course of this hymn of devotion, I have failed to describe Thee adequately, forgive me in consideration of my being your staunch adherent, for Thou art always a friend to a Brâhmaṇa.—168.
