*sūta uvāca
puruṣaḥ kaśyapastvāsīd aditistu priyā smṛtā
brahmaṇaḥ kaśyapastvaṃśaḥ pṛthivyāstvaditistathā //

Sûta said:—Kaśyapa became man and had Aditi for his wife. The former was born by the glory of the Creator and the latter was created from a particle of the Earth.—9.
