evaṃ yayātiśāpena jarāsaṃkramaṇe purā
turvasoḥ pauravaṃ vaṃśaṃ praviveśa purā kila //
Because Turvasu did not exhange his youth with the infirmity of Yayâti, through the curse of the latter, therefore, the family of Turvasu did not become prominent, but it lapsed into the house of Puru.—3.
