48.30

*munaya ūcuḥ
kathaṃ baleḥ sutā jātāḥ pañca tasya mahātmanaḥ
kiṃnāmnī mahiṣī tasya janitā katama ṛṣiḥ //

The sages said:—“Sûta! How was Bali blessed with five children? What was the name of the mother of those children? Which Ṛiṣi begot them? How did he do so? Be good enough to relate to us all this, and also explain to us the glory of that sage (who begot those children for Bali).—30-31.
