tato dīrghatamā nāma śāpādrṛṣirajāyata.
atoṃ'śajo bṛhatkīrtti bṛhaspatirivojasā.. 48.42 ..
Afterwards, on account of the curse of Bṛihaspati, the child was born blind and named Dîrghatamâ. [Deep darkness]. He was illustrious and persevering like Bṛihaspati.—42.
