*ṛṣaya ūcuḥ
bharatasya bharadvājaḥ putrārthaṃ mārutaiḥ katham
saṃkrāmito mahātejās tanno brūhi yathātatham //

The sages said :—'Sûta ! Please explain to us fully how the Marut Devas gave the most illustrious Bharadvâja to Bharata."—16.
