jarāsaṃdhasya putrastu sahadevaḥ pratāpavān
sahadevātmajaḥ śrīmān somavit sa mahātapāḥ //
Jarâsandha begot the illustrious Sahadeva, the father of the illustrious Somâvi, who was a great ascetic. Sutaśravâ was the son of Somâvi. Thus the Kings of Magadha have been described.—33.
