vāsavo 'gniḥ kṛśānuryo dvitīyottaravedikaḥ
samrāḍagnisuto hyaṣṭāv upatiṣṭhanti tāndvijāḥ //

Vâsava and Kriśânu are both the Agnis of Dvitîya and Uttara vedi (altars). Samrât was the son of Agni, and the Brâhmaṇas worship these eight Fires.—19.
