tacca ṣoḍaśasāhasraṃ sarvakratuphalapradam
yaḥ pradadhannaraḥ so 'tha svargaloke mahīyate //
One who writes this Purâṇa and gives it away in charity, along with a golden lotus, a cow and sesamum, on the full-moon day, in Mârgaśirâ, attains the benefit of performing 16,000 sacrifices.—29.
