tatpauṣe māsi yo dadyāt paurṇamāsyāṃ vimatsaraḥ
guḍakumbhasamāyuktam agniṣṭomaphalaṃ bhavet //
One who gives away this Purâṇa in charity, free from the feeling of jealousy, on the full-moon day of Pauṣa, along with a pitcher of raw sugar, attains the benefit of performing the Agniṣṭoma sacrifice.—32.
