salakṣmīkaṃ sabhāryāya kāñcanaṃ puruṣottamam
śayyāṃ ca dadyānmantreṇa granthibhedavivarjitām //

The image of Viṣṇu along with that of Lakṣmî, should be given away to the Brâhmaṇa and his wife, with a peaceful mind. So also should be given a bedstead, made of wood, without any joints.—24
