pratimāṃ vāsudevasya mūlarkṣādiṣu cārcayet
caitramāsaṃ samāsādya kṛtvā brāhmaṇavācanam //
The devotee should get an image of the Lord Vâsudeva made according to the instructions of the Brâhmaṇa, and should then commence to worship it from the month of Chaitra, at the time when the moon is in the Mûlâ, etc.—8.
