*nārada uvāca
upavāseṣvaśaktasya tadeva phalamicchataḥ
anabhyāsena rogādvā kimiṣṭaṃ vratamuttamam //
Hearing all that Nârada said:—"Lord! What should one, who, owing to delicate health or otherwise, is not in a position to go through the ordinance of fasting just explained by you, do?"—1.
