umāpate ravervāpi na bhedo dṛśyate kvacit
yasmāttasmānmuniśreṣṭha gṛhe śambhuṃ samarcayet //

There is absolutely no difference between Śiva and the Sun, and consequently, the devotee, when worshipping the Śiva, uses the mantras addressed to the Sun. They are as follows:—
