58.51

ātharvaṇena saṃsnātāṃ punarmāmetyatheti ca.
āpohiṣṭheti mantreṇa kṣiptvā''gatya ca maṇḍalam.. 58.46 ..

The cow should then be bathed by reciting the text of the Atharva Veda, such as punarâmeti, etc., as well as âpohiṣṭhâ, etc., and then the worshipper should return to the circle of priests. Then the tank should be worshipped and bali offerings should be made on four sides of it. Afterwards, homa sacrifice should be performed for four days.—46-47.
