ye ca lokāḥ smṛtāsteṣāṃ tānidānīṃ vadasva naḥ
yatphalaṃ labhate pretya tatsarvaṃ vaktumarhasi //
The Ṛiṣis.—Sûta! Tell us in detail the rites which the wise should observe in dedicating and consecrating a tree, and also the region in which he would go after his death.—1-2.
