dhūpo'traguggulaḥ śreṣṭhaḥ tāmrapātrairadhiṣṭhitān.
sarvān dhānyasthitān‌ kṛtvā vastragandhānulepanaiḥ.. 59.7 ..

After that, seven or eight fruits made of gold should be placed on the altars.—7. The incense of the resin (guggula) is considered best on such an occasion. Copper pitchers, full of water, should be placed and worshipped with cloth and incense, &c., after placing corn on them.—8.
