ajāśvameṣoṣṭrakharān sugrīvī cāpyajījanat
eṣa tāmrānvayaḥ prokto vinatāyāṃ nibodhata //
Sugrîvî gave birth to goat, horse, ram, camel, mule, &c.
From his wife Vinitâ, Kaśyapa begot Garuḍa, the lord of birds, the Aruṇa, and a daughter, named Saudâminî (Lightning).—33-34.
